Camille is a Research Project Coordinator supporting the research portfolio of Dr. Rebecka Lundgren at UC San Diego’s Center on Gender Equity and Health. Camille most recently returned from Peace Corps Senegal as a Community Health Support Agent where she began working as a community-based facilitator for the Ministry of Health and Social Action’s plan to end preventable child and maternal deaths.
Prior to joining the Peace Corps, Camille worked for USAID in Washington, DC where she provided program support across the Bureau for Global Health’s family planning and reproductive health and maternal, newborn, and child health portfolios. In this role, she also advised on strategic communications, advocacy, and outreach.
Camille is eager to contribute to the Center on Gender Equity and Health’s gender and social norms programs and qualitative research. In her off time, you can catch Camille whipping up a plant-based recipe from her cookbook or on a wave in Pacific Beach.
